After a long time now, we have been experiencing little problems with our website. We weren't reaching out to customers unlike before, the HTML codes were messy, back links were low and poor with no linking policies, no enough information and the layout was generally appalling.
Then i, Okiemute Omuta (Kheme), was hired to work on SEO late in 2009. Experienced freelance website developer but New to SEO, I've spent months working on the site: redesign, valid XHTML and CSS codes, working on link building with a policy, content generation and optimization. So far, observable changes include better alexa ranking (from 6,xxx,xxx to 1,5xx,xxx) and website grader.com grade (from 47 to 93). So far, i can say i've made considerable progress.
Now, we are targeting customers and trying to convert visitors into customers. I am still working on new idea for on page and off page SEO. I'm pretty positive about the new website this time. With time, search reslts should show considerable results. Those with tips and ideas are welcome to comment and advice.
