Silver*Ware Studios, (SWS) hired as Exec. Producer, signed David Sheldon's production company, Hollywood West Inc. (HWI) as a client and agreed to fund their entire slate of eight films. The first film should go into pre-production in March 2010. The films cover a large span of genre such as action, drama, and comedy. As for the names of the films to be release first has not yet been determined.
The Film Fund Program is geared to use only a small portion of the production company to monetize or leverage the funds to collect and fund the entire budget for the films. Film industries are starting to look more into unconventional funding rather banks or studio funding. The film industry is still one of the nation's #1 industry not affected by the economy.
Sheldon's HWI Production Company's eight films were placed on SWS’s Slate to be funded by the program. are still looking for other projects that has a little "skin in the game."
