Crystal Genes, owner of Crystal Genes Photography in Charlotte, NC, and partner Ben Aultowski will give away wedding photography to one lucky couple to be married in 2011. The catch? The winning couple must convince the studio that their wedding city is the best place on Earth.
Crystal and Ben have always wanted to find a city to call their own and have decided to take action to find out where that might be. They will be accepting entries from couples who are to be married between April and September of 2011 until June 30, 2010. Couples must be getting married outside of NC.
The winning couple will receive 8 hours of wedding day coverage from Crystal and Ben, an engagement session in the week prior to the wedding, an online image viewing and ordering gallery for both engagement session and wedding day images, a best-of online slideshow of wedding day images, 1 8x12 print enlargement, and all full resolution edited images on disc with rights to print.
Crystal says, "We've been talking about doing this since college...6 years ago! There's no better time to find our city than the present. Everyone dreams of road-tripping across country, we want to be one of those who actually do it. Why not travel around looking for our perfect town while also doing what we love so we can really experience the places we visit?"
The couple plan to fund the entire trip off discounted portrait sessions and weddings, and said, "we don't mind sleeping in our Honda Element if we have to". Crystal is most excited to see states like Mississippi, Louisiana and Arizona, while Ben is most excited to see states like Oregon, Maine and Massachusetts.
