The New Jersey bred emcee Demic is set to release his second project after the heavily coveted "Walk on Water" debut. The tentative release date is Tuesday March 15th, but the date may change due to extremely tight deadlines. The lead track for the album "Rat Race" will be "Pay." The music video for the song "Pay" was shot and edited by Dwayne Henry at various locations in Los Angeles. Other notable tracks slated for the release include: Blow the cake, Avatar, Rat Race, and To the top.
The album theme Rat Race is meant to represent people who feel they are stuck in the grind of America. Waking up and going to sleep only to do the same thing the following day. "At a point in your life when you have been trying to do the same thing for a long period of time and don't see the results you want, you will begin to feel trapped in a rat race, said Demic."
The album will feature production from Andrew Bell, Allen Henry, Tec, Julian Rest and Demic himself.
