Locally Owned Assisted Living Celebrates First in ADPH History!

Feb. 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Country Cottage made history last week when the Alabama Department of Public Health awarded the assisted living community with a perfect survey score of 100% in all three buildings.  The zero-deficiency score was a first in ADPH history and reveals the hard work and dedication that the Cottage staff demonstrates every day.  The survey results came in on Thursday, January 28th.  

“Our team works very hard to ensure that our Residents receive the quality of care they need to be happy and healthy in their Cottage home and I am so proud of what they have accomplished,” said Diane Spiva, RN, BSN, MSNA, Managing Director at Country Cottage. “We are all so thrilled about the perfect survey score.  At the end of the day it always comes down to making sure our Residents are loved and cared for.”

Cottage Senior Living, the management company that oversees the operations of Country Cottage, donated $1,000 to the Cottage’s employee fund to use for a staff party in celebration of this accomplishment.
