The UK’s leading drinks logistics company Tradeteam has been shortlisted for a prestigious European transport award.
Tradeteam are among 12 operators nominated for Truck Europe’s European Transport Company of the Year award. It follows a string of domestic industry honours picked up last year by Tradeteam, including Motor Transport’s Haulier of the Year.
Judged by industry experts, truck manufacturers and editors of national transport magazines, the Truck Europe Awards recognise excellence in road transport management.
Following a successful second round submission Tradeteam will now compete for the coveted title against five other distribution giants from Romania, Germany, Sweden, Belgium and Holland.
Tradeteam received high praise for the quality of their candidate dossier which answered questions on customer relationship management, fleet management, HR, safety, IT and corporate social responsibility practices.
Each of the remaining nominees will now undergo an independent financial analysis, a series of in-depth customer satisfaction surveys and give a final 15-minute award pitch in Brussels.

The winner of the European Transport Company of the Year is due to be unveiled in the presence of hundreds of transport professionals at Truck Europe’s gala dinner in Brussels on February 11th.
