A programme has been launched with a view to see north Wales turning itself into one of the top five of the United Kingdom's visitor destinations. The freshly launched plan aims at providing the visitors with that wow factor through a cordial welcome and the following impressive customer service.
The plan that has been launched last day by the industry further aims for increased investment in the market of outdoor activities in the country. Alongside, it was revealed by the industry that it already supported thirty seven thousand jobs, beside generating GBP 1.8 billion in tourist spending every year.
The North Wales Tourism Partnership's devised strategy apparently aims at breaking the GBP 2 billion barrier by the year 2015. Alun Ffred Jones, the minister for heritage will be unveiling the plan at the Galeri, located in Caernarfon.
According to Jones, many small to medium businesses were provided with the lifeblood by the tourism industry. He added that he believed in its potential to contribute in an even better way in the future, beisdes being a sustainable sector that with proper management would carry on to thrive for generations ahead.
