Plastic Surgeon to lecture on beauty treatments and plastic surgery at Spa in Monmouth County

Plastic Surgeon to lecture on beauty treatments and plastic surgery options at local day spa in Monmouth County, New Jersey at Aquamedica Salon and Spa in Long Branch at the Pier Village.  He will discuss non-surgical options such as Botox, Restalyne, chemical peels, laser hair removal for conditions such as sagging and aging skin, age spots, brown spots, excess fat, uneven skin tone, unwanted hair, cellulite, stretch marks, acne, sun damage.  

According to Dr Lombardi, "For significant sagging jowls, deep wrinkles, and loose neck skin a surgical  lower lift is recommended."  Most patients who decide to have this surgery are age forty five to fifty five. During a lower face lift, underlying connective and muscle tissue known as the SMAS are lifted, the facial skin is tightened and the excess skin is removed.  The procedure usually takes about three hours and can be performed under general or local anesthesia. Patients are back  to work in the swing of their normal activities in one to two weeks. The doctor may also suggest a neck lift, a forehead lift or a mid face lift if needed.

Anthony S. Lombardi, M.D., F.A.C.S., P.C., who is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as general surgery, performs laser rejuvenation techniques, including botox and other wrinkle reduction therapies, microdermabrasion, hair removal, vein removal, pigmentation reduction, and acne treatments, including laser treatments, topical and oral medications, vitamin therapy, and nutritional counseling.

Dr. Lombardi is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Lombardi received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed his residency in general surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. He also completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Lombardi frequently lectures on the psycho-social aspects of plastic surgery, as well as on body dismorphic disorders.

Valentina is a member of the National Cosmetology Association and a CIDESCO candidate (Comite International Desthetique et de Cosmetologie Desthetique), which is the highest degree of beauty therapy certification available in the United States and worldwide. Most recently, Valentina completed a rigorous training program with the Spanish organization Wontersaf, one of the world's leading centers for trichology, capillary diagnostics and scalp and hair treatment to combat hair loss and other hair dysfunctions. Valentina also holds a Registered Nursing Degree from Kharkov State University and Cosmetology degrees from the Kharkov Medical Institute in the Ukraine and the Capri Institute of Cosmetology in New Jersey.
