Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death for American women, and twice as many women in the United States die of heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases than forms of cancer, including breast cancer and Nyla Simone Home wants to share this important message with their community.
While red dresses are not mandatory to attend, the party's theme is meant to inform attendees about the importance of heart-health and encourage annual health checks. The event will feature heart-healthy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres from Home Sweet Home Catering and health screenings from ProActive, as well as raffles, door prizes, and more.
