Softtek welcomes business leaders from Brazilian consulting firm Ankyla
SAO PAULO – February 4, 2010 – Softtek, a global provider of IT and business process solutions and the largest private IT service provider in Latin America, announced today the consolidation of its business consulting offering. Softtek Brazil will now be joined by associates from Ankyla, a business consulting company started by former PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM executives. The new team will now be responsible for coordinating Softtek’s business consulting services in the growing Brazilian market.
The founders of Ankyla – Gustavo da Rocha Lima, José Jorge and Sergio Ferraz – each have more than 25 years of experience in consultancy, through which they have held executive positions in different consulting firms. The team they lead is recognized for its deep expertise in several industries, including Telecommunications, Financial Services and Consumer Goods.
With the inclusion of the new team, Softtek will be able to provide a wide range of services to various industries with an attractive cost structure. “We fill the gap left by big consulting firms,” said Gustavo da Rocha Lima, newly appointed Director of Business Consulting for Softtek. “Now we can offer a complete solution including strategy definition, business transformation, implementation and maintenance of the IT solution.”
After a successful trial period that started in October 2009, the business consulting offering has already produced high value-added results for Softtek’s clients. The new unit has the ability to integrate a broad network of senior consultants that will be assembled into teams according to the specific needs of each project.
