FirstPower Group LLC offers three day Worthington V2A4 Maintenance Training Class in April, 2010

Feb. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- FirstPower Group LLC has announced their most recent training offering for the electric power industry. The course, to be held April 6-8, 2010 will be led by FirstPower Group LLC’s own highly experienced and skilled team of Engineers and Technicians; with lengthy experience maintaining, servicing & re-manufacturing air compressors used in high voltage circuit breaker mechanism since 1979.

The class will prepare new technicians and is a great refresher for supervisors and experienced technicians alike. The course is designed for technicians and supervisors who are responsible for the maintenance and testing of circuit breaker compressors 2000 PSI and above. Requires minimal working knowledge of compressors; field experience beneficial but not necessary. Curriculum will include: Identification of major components, flow diagram, wiring diagram, maintenance details, operational and performance tests, replacement parts, systems trouble-shooting and comprehensive course test. Working air packages will be provided for hands-on demonstration and experience with performance testing, unit evaluation, trouble-shooting and 1500 hour maintenance inspection.

Attendance is limited to 10 individuals per class. Registration must be received no later than March 26, 2010.
