Feb. 4, 2010 - PRLog -- It may only be February, but eager party planners are already turning their attention to their 2010 Christmas Parties, according to one of industry’s leading organisers.

Eventa (http://www.eventa.co.uk/christmas-parties/) has already taken dozens of bookings for festive bashes despite them being eleven months away, mostly from organisations keen to get the first pick of the best Christmas party packages.

Rob Hill, owner of Eventa, explained: “We expected a quiet start to the year, but we’ve been inundated with requests for Christmas parties already. It seems people want to give themselves something to look forward to.”

The news follows a bumper year with Christmas party sales in 2009 smashing the total recorded in 2008, as companies defied the financial concern to give their employees the chance to revel in the festivities.

The most popular venue for Christmas parties last year was the Scottish city of Glasgow, while south of the border Manchester Christmas parties (http://www.eventa.co.uk/christmas-parties/manchester) topped the booking list.

Mr Hill added: “It seems the Mancunians cannot resist a good Christmas party, although we are seeing a lot of interest in Cardiff Christmas parties (http://www.eventa.co.uk/christmas-parties/cardiff) so far this year.”
