Are the photos for sale?
Yes, that is how we will raise money for the charity. You will fill out a label with your name and the photo price for each photo. You will place it under your photos after you hang them. If somebody purchases the photo, a dot will be placed on the label indicating a sale.
That's a long time to hang around. Is there anything else to do while I'm in the area?
This event is part of the Castleberry Hill Art Stroll. There are plenty of gallery openings and places to grab a bite to eat. You can find more information at http://castleberryhill.org/
Is there a size limit?
No, photos may be any size, but due to the size limitation at this location, the total space you will be allowed to show all of your pieces is 2 feet by 4 feet (approximately ten 8x10 photos). We request that you email Krista to confirm that you will be showing. projectpushpin@
Who gets the money if a photo is sold?
The artist receives fifty percent of the sale. You may pick up any cash money collected between 10 pm and 10:30pm. Unfortunately, we are not able to hold the funds, so if you are unable to come during that time, it will be assumed to be a donation to charity. Credit card purchases will be paid within 30 days by check. A check will be mailed to your home.
Do I need to print my own labels?
No, you will hand write your labels before you hang your prints. You may also bring business cards.
Is there a price minimum or maximum?
No, but whole numbers only, please (e.g. $10 is good, while $9.99 is not).
Are you actually going to punch pinholes in the photo?
No holes need to be made in your photos. You will use pushpins (or tape-TBA) on the top and bottom of your photo(s) to secure it in place.
What happens to my photo if I can't come back and pick it up?
Unfortunately, we are unable to arrange an alternate pick up time. If you need to, you may pick up your photo early and forfeit the opportunity to sell it. We would prefer that all photos stay posted until 10:00 pm.
May I bring a bin for extra photos?
Due to the limited amount of space, we will allow four bins. You must email Krista before the event and reserve your spot. We would appreciate it if you would share your bin with other artists, if necessary. Please email projectpushpin@
