WooLoot Sport is pleased to announce that its Wave lightweight sport watches were included in the official gift bags given to presenters and performers at The Recording Academy®'s 52nd Annual GRAMMY® Awards on January 31, 2010.
"We were very excited to have the Wave at this year's GRAMMY Awards," says WooLoot Sport Director Jennifer Perez. "WooLoot's Wave watches have made a big impact since they were introduced last year, and we're delighted to be able to present them in such a unique way to GRAMMY presenters and performers."
Last summer, WooLoot introduced the lightweight Wave sport watch at the 2009 Surf Expo in Orlando, FL. The waterproof watches, which weigh just 10g, feature a large LCD display encased in a soft rubber watchcase with a clasp-free band. The Wave comes in a dozen sporty colors and the unisex design is appealing to all action sports enthusiasts.
The Wave's distinctive design is enhanced by a tourmaline, a beautiful green semi-precious mineral that can aid in detoxification, increase concentration, and improve sleep, meditation and relaxation, all of which are important to people with exceptionally active lifestyles. WooLoot Wave watches are now available nationwide through sports specialty stores and on the company's Web site.
The GRAMMY Award is the preeminent peer-recognized award for musical excellence and the most credible brand in music. Recipient selections are not made based on sales volume or the popularity of an artist's recorded works. This year's GRAMMY Awards featured special tributes to some of the industry's most talented performers and a special fundraising segment to assist relief and rebuilding efforts in Haiti.
