St. Louis, MO and Birmingham, AL — February 3, 2010— Document Imaging Systems Corp (DISC) today announced the completion of a strategic agreement with ibml, a leading provider in document capture solutions. As part of the agreement, DISC has added the ibml ImageTrac® 3e-Lite Document Scanner Solution to its document conversion facility.  The addition of this document capture system continues DISC’s strategic plan to build a conversion facility with best in class technology.  The ImageTrac 3e-Lite, the newest model from the industry’s leading manufacturer, incorporates ibml’s SoftTrac® software with the capability of capturing over 250 8 ½ x 11 pages per minute.

In addition to adding the ImageTrac solution to its production facility, DISC plans on providing ibml scanners to its clients through a reseller agreement with ibml.  “We’ve always found that the industry prefers to purchase solutions from an organization that uses those solutions.  We feel strongly that the ibml solutions deliver a powerful ROI to organizations with a high demand for document conversion and data capture.”

“ibml is excited about the partnership with DISC and we look forward to being a part of the solution to provide digital electronic medical records to provider organizations through this relationship”, says Greg Lusch, Director Business Development at ibml.
