New Way's to Make Your Computer Faster

Here are some new ways you can make your computer run in tip top shape to the best experience out of your PC

Feb. 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Update your Windows to 64 Bit. For instance: If your computer is only allowing you to run 3GB of Ram you can after this you can run it's full capability.
Turn off the eye candy - Open Control Panel - Type Visual in the search field - Choose Adjust for Best Performance.
Bot More quickly then ever before - Use a program called Startup Delayer. Type this into google and you should find it. Or Ccleaner. Both of these programs tell you what programs are starting up with the computer. You can enable and Disable them.
Eliminate the Aero Peek Delay - (Only works with Windows 7) Press the Windows Key top pop open the Start menu - Type in Regedit - Press Enter - Within the registry navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrent-VersionExplorerAdvanced. Right Click an empty pane, and then choose New.DWORD (32bit) Value. In the Field enter the name DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime. Windows will assign a value of 0 - then see what happens!
Tweak your power settings (only works with Vista) - Click Start - Type Power and select Power Options - Choose the high Performance Plan. If you don't see it click show additional plans) Now the Desktop will Work with Optimized Power Settings
Run Performance Monitor - (Only works in Windows 7) Press the Windows key - Type Perfmon and press Enter. You can start assessing your system by expanding the monitoring Tools folder and clicking Performance Monitor.
Install Microsoft security essentials you can find it on Google by typing it in, it is a free ware.
Install Web of Trust. You can find it in Google.
Create a system repair disc (only works with Windows 7) just pop in a blank recordable CD or DVD. You will a burner. Click start. Type "Repair" and choose System Repair Disc
Follow the instructions from there.
Tweak the UAC works in Windows 7 ONLY (user accounts) Click START - Type ACCOUNT and Select CHANGE USER ACCOUNT CONTROL SETTINGS You will see a slider with 4 notification levels. Then you will be able to allow a person to use different programs besides yourself.
Reload APPS after a reboot.
