Home Instead Senior Care Names Community Service Coordinator in Connecticut

Sharon Massafra, president of Home Instead Senior Care in Trumbull and Sandy Hook, Connecticut announced that Ms. Leigh Schultz of Southbury, Connecticut has been named Community Service Coordinator for communities in Litchfield, New Haven and Fairfield Counties. Ms. Schultz will help create and fulfill community relations opportunities for the franchise that serves seniors and their families in 33 towns throughout northern Fairfield, southern Litchfield and northwest New Haven Counties.

Ms. Schultz offers nineteen years experience in the retirement arena with a special emphasis on marketing and special events. Formerly she was director of marketing with Laurel Gardens in Woodbridge, Connecticut; social director with Thirty-Thirty Park Continuing Care Retirement Community in Bridgeport; and recreation supervisor with Shelton Lakes Residence and Health Care Center in Shelton, Conn. She earned her Bachelor of Science, and Associate of Science in Marketing degrees from Post University in Waterbury; and an Associate of Science in Therapeutic Recreation degree from Norwalk Community College.
