Online sales were at such a high due in part to eFlorist staying open until 1pm on Christmas Eve, with all same-day orders taken before then personally hand-delivered by florists on the 24th. The figures coincide with the news that Teleflorist has rebranded its operations and is now trading as eFlorist, with the impressive December sales figures sure to quell any worries that customers would get lost in translation during the move's final stages.
eFlorist specialise in selling flowers online and online flower delivery, and the figures add weight to the argument that flowers and flower-related gifts were the personal present of choice for loved ones during 2009's tough financial times.
