Expats and Anglophiles Flock to Their New Shopping Site in the USA

Feb. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- In response to requests from friends received by Brit store owner Yvonne Carlson asking her to bring back to the USA unique gifts and products from Britain a store featuring all that is new and unique from the British Isles opened for business in January 2010.

"Just like a bazaar or department store anywhere in the world, the range of choice in The British Bazaar is eclectic and sure to interest and entertain" says the store owner. "Over 80% of the products offered originate from the UK but many such as travel journals are produced in the USA and stocked because they are of interest to those heading off on their travels as well as making perfect gifts for visiting friends and relatives coming to the USA."

Although targeted towards expats and Anglophiles residing in the USA the site has unique worldwide appeal as now anyone can send a 'Brit gift' to someone living in the USA while American's can delight their Brit and European friends with a unique gift from home.

Features of the site include The Mensroom where finding something for hard-to-buy-for men is made simple while sporting enthusiasts can find running vests or cycle shirts displaying their national flag.  

Store owner Yvonne Carlson is also working on making stock available for English soccer supporters preparing for their first match against the USA during the Soccer World Cup in South Africa later this year.
