Feb. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Competitive girls looking to improve their basketball skills with the goal of playing at the college level have the opportunity to participate in a regional camp and competition that will qualify them for a national event. The 2010 Lady Prodigy Basketball South Texas Regional Exposure Camp is for girls in 6-10th grade. Participants receive two full days of skill training, individual athletic testing, competition and exposure at local, regional and national levels, according to South Texas Regional Director, Edwina Brown.

The South Texas Regional Camp will give each player a barometer of how they measure and rank with the top players in the region.  “If you think you have what it takes to compete with the top Junior High School and High School Players in the region and nation, then this camp is for you,” said Brown.

The South Texas Regional Camp will be April 10-11, 2010 and will be held at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.  The regional camp is limited to 50 participants in each age group and is mandatory for competitive players who hope to qualify for an invitation to the prestigious National Lady Prodigy Basketball Camp that will be held in July 2010 in Arlington, Texas.
