Irregular Hair Color
Feb. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- This condition, a result of hair damage, has a disruptive effect on color and perms.  Hair fibers with uneven porosity can cause improper curl formation and frizzy ends after perming.  Color may exhibit spottiness, off tomes and uneven disposition (light and dark areas).

Due to chemical, mechanical or thermal factors or environmental damage to hair, the structure of the hair fiber may vary from scalp to ends.  The further from the scalp, the greater the damage.  As the cuticle becomes worn away, the protein structure becomes less competent and cysteic acid, (an oxidant compound) content increases.  As a result the hair becomes more porous.
This variation in porosity along the length of the hair shaft is a major reason why hair sometimes reacts unexpectedly to chemical services.

The clue is to level and condition, helping to protect against damage during the perm and to minimize dryness and curl relaxation after perming.  During the color process, it is very important to provide balanced color depositing and smooth condition.
Styling polymers and conditioner ingredients can cause the hair surface to become uneven, a condition which can contribute to improper curl formation.  Also, overexposure to chlorine and copper sulfate, used primarily in swimming pool and spa water.  Copper bonds with chlorine to form copper chloride, the yellow-green salt that creates “swimmer’s hair.”

Iron found in tap water binds to hair proteins; the perm solution reacts with the iron to form a “purple complex,” evidenced by purple areas on hair and towels, and interferes with proper curl formation.  Odor and dark stains in the hair may also result.  By clarifying and removing mineral deposits from hair, the result will be much better perms and truer color.
If you are looking for a way to get color more frequently  and get more even results, it is better to switch to products which are refreshing and to enhancing  color shampoos containing semi-permanent dyes that coat the hair shaft.

Gradually adding a tint, they do not have the power to lighten because there is no bleach in them.  The more you use them, the more intense the color will become.  There is not big commitment – they will rinse out in just about as many shampoos as it takes to wash them in.  these products are available for every hair shade and can be used on color-treated hair.  Even if yours is dark brown, you can make your natural highlights better. There is excitement available for everyone.
