Feb. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- As the dreaded Valentines Day nears, singles can look forward to Zazz day on February 19th.

Tickets are available for all Chicago land singles to attend Park Lawn’s 21st Annual Zazz Singles Party and Auction scheduled Friday, February 19, 2010.

The highlight of the evening is the date auction with eligible bachelors and bachelorettes from the area.  The highest bidders will be the lucky winners of some of the most exciting date packages.

Five bachelors and six bachelorettes are volunteering to auction off a date package.  The ages vary with the youngest volunteer being 24 years old and the oldest is 59.  Bachelorette Kathy Davey (45) volunteered because she has a family member with developmental disabilities enrolled in Park Lawn.  “I have been single my whole life and I am finally using my ‘singleness’ to help others,” Kathy explained enthusiastically.

Bachelor Trent Douglas (32) has attended Park Lawn’s Zazz several times throughout the years.  He mentioned that he is the guy always on the dance floor at Zazz and enjoyed the event so much he knew it was time to help and see what happens.

Masters of Ceremony will again include Bonnie Greene, US 99 News and Traffic Reporter for the Lisa Dent and Ramblin’ Ray Morning Show, and Gene Honda, the sports announcer for the Chicago White Sox, Blackhawks, and WTTW.

Outside of the date auction, attendees will have the chance to bid on extravagant items such as overnight packages, dinner and theater packages, sports and autographed memorabilia and unique items that can only be found at ZAZZ.  Also included in the ticket price is a 2 ½ open bar, dancing, Hors D’oeuvre Buffet, silent auction items, raffles and more.

Park Lawn’s Zazz Singles Party and Auction is scheduled Friday, February 19, 2010.  Singles can find one another at the Ashton Place at 341 75th St. Willowbrook, IL.  Doors will open at 7:00 PM.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.zazzsingles.com or call 708-425-6867.  All attendees are required to be 21 years or older.  Tickets are $37 in advance or $320 for a table of ten people.

Zazz Singles Party and Auction is an event for Park Lawn Association, a local non-profit organization with programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
