A&R Unlimited was founded by The Inside Connection music magazine Owner and Publisher, Joann Gullo. A&R Unlimited scouts talent for Record Labels, Music Publishers and TV & Movie Music Supervisors from companies such as Atlantic, SONY, Capitol, Columbia, Universal, EMI Music Publishing, Disney, Epic, Troma Entertainment, MTV plus hundreds more. By working with such companies A&R Unlimited helps advise and guide artists through the changing aspects of the music industry.
Drawing upon her experience as Publisher as well as her past positions which included VP of A&R for Eagle Eye Records and years of scouting talent for just about every major label, Gullo wants to provide musicians unprecedented access to the music industry. She has worked with such artists as Madonna, Sugar Ray, Usher, Garth Brooks, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Pearl Jam, No Doubt, along with many others.
Gullo created A&R Unlimited for one reason "…to help independent bands succeed in the music industry. The mission of A&R Unlimited is to guide independent musicians of all genres in order to help further their careers in the music industry. Advances in technology along with a complete restructuring of the music industry has left the independent musician with no clear path to follow for success. A&R Unlimited not only helps the musician better understand and relate to the changing industry, but also helps the executives discover new talent. We create a massive media buzz for our members through marketing and promotional efforts, provide a better understanding of internet resources, and act as a one stop shop for musicians to cover all aspects of the promotion process. In addition, we put them in direct contact with the right executives."

Practicing attorney, Shana Curti, who began her music career in radio promotions. She also pursued music academically at New York University, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business, along with graduating at St. John’s University School of Law, where she focused on Entertainment Law. Curti is an experienced litigator, is admitted to practice in the State of New York, and is a member of the Entertainment Law Committee.
The Inside Connection music magazine’s columnist and VP of Promotions Ed Johnson. Johnson is the former Head Promoter of Club Nostradamus in New York and has worked with such artists as Missing Persons, Rob Halford (of Judas Priest), Bow Wow Wow, The Sisters of Mercy, Bile, The Scofflaws, Acumen Nation, Babyland and Voltaire.
Scott Kuchler, who currently scouts talent in the field for A&R Unlimited, was hired by KOCH International after interning on "The Howard Stern Show." By the end of his 5 year tenure at KOCH he had worked his way up to the position of Label Manager for the Progressive division in which he worked with such artists as Carole King, Ringo Starr, Bill Wyman, Dave Davies, The Smithereens, Arlo Guthrie and Sir Bob Geldof among others.
