“A Hollywood Romance” Valentine Dinner Burlesque Cabaret DJs Dancing Peacock Bar Restaurant

London UK, February 02, 2010 -- Peacock Bar London is proud to announce its “A Hollywood Romance Valentine Day Dinner Cabaret and Dance” Sunday 14th February with burlesque, cabaret, Djs, dancing till 12.30am at the award winning Peacock Bar. Entry is a very romantic free and dining, buffet and drinks only places  are available. Whether you are a starry eyes couple or a glamorous single this is the place to be Valentine’s Day. The “Hollywood Romance ” theme
The venue - not to mentions staff - will all be dressed in 30s, 40s 50s attire so expect venetian masks, Marilyn Monroe films flickering on the walls, red carpet , the whole works. Dressing up is optional but is strongly encouraged whether its 30s evening gowns, burlesque gear or black tie just as long as its glamorous and stylish (but yes guys jeans and trainers are fine too - I am sure your date will be so impressed!). Our hosts will be pouring complimentary Peacock Love Cocktails  for everyone making the effort

The show, DJ’s and dancing (evening)
The evening kicks off early at 8pm with four  shows by two performers with Djs in between. The  first is the beautiful and sultry burlesque singer Miss Kitty being all  “Cabaret” like and  who likes nothing better than bringing bankers on stage and singing Hey Big Spender to them whilst they sit …. having of course tied them up first . And to finish the shows off we present Anna Sambalada whose samba and polesque displays have been such a hit at the Peacock  (not to mention her fabulous costumes). She also does so like to involve the audience so don’t be surprised if she asks you to join her as she dances around the tables.

After the shows its Djs and dancing from 10ish with our celebrity DJ DiskoJuice spinning rubbish 80/90s cheese with a tiny bit of classic Ibizan house (you know the old stuff) thrown in too …. plus a few smoochy slow songs too for you know what.  All aided by tacky original 70s/80s lights and silly freebies from party poppers to streamers for that party from yesteryear feel.

Stars In Their Eyes
Fancy going on stage?  Because  there is nothing our performers like more than bringing people on stage to sing to /dance with so whether you are a loved up couple or a glamorous single this is your chance. Come on now don’t be shy.  Oh and it's all recorded by our photographers for ever too.

Three course Valentine Lunch/ Dinner
Our executive chef Gianluca,  freshly poached from the legendary Mayfair private dining club The George,   is proud to present his Lovers Menu with just a slight Italian twist

Starters
Artichoke, mushrooms,  and sauté potatoes with truffle oil
Duck orange and cranberry pate with brioche
Tuna tartar with poached quails eggs and caviar
 
Main
Pan fried fillet of Seabass with roast fennel, olives, and cherry tomato
Aged fillet steak on a bed of vegetable caponad with sauté potatoes
Ravioli di Zucca (pumpkin) with black butter sauce and sage

Sweets
Homemade mixed berry tart
Chocolate fondant cake
Selection of ice cream and sorbets

Our Peacock Lover’s Menu is available Lunch time (12-3pm) £14.95 and Evening (6pm-10pm) £19.95

Buffet options
We have our normal  £5,  £10 per head and £15 per head buffets options also available (See our Food Page). These are served at low tables and are ideal for party groups. Diners must come before 9.30pm.
