Asian Atelier was established 9 years ago by Alin Anuar as a hobby with savings enough to start in Singapore. From there the passion grew from strength to strength. To date Asian Atelier has received international recognition in promoting Asian Fashion participating in the recent Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week in November 2009.
The humble beginnings started with an online store specializing in bespoke Kebaya label called “Chantiq Skaly”, my biggest critics were my family ; I have sisters and cousins who were able to give constructive comments on the Kebayas, they were also my main supporter from the beginning wearing Kebaya made by Asian Atelier said Alin Anuar.“ We managed to pull together great team and soon our kebaya received orders from all over the world” she added.
In the following years, we expanded and ventured into accessories and Asia Wedding Consultancy where we provide A-Z assistance to couples who wished to have their weddings at one of the Top Asian Destinations (for example : Bali or Ko Phi Phi, Thailand). At the same time, we partnered with other young designers’ with their own fashion label to promote our designs and artwork to the world through fashion exhibitions and tradeshows. That was when the wholesale business began. We exported our labels to the United States, Europe and across Asia added Alin Anuar.
A portion of our profits will go to our own charity foundation – The Anuar Anis Foundation to help and support people and animals in need.
