Verio and Servoy Announce Platform as a Service (PaaS) Offering

The PaaS offering is a single stack that covers the full line of technology that any ISV needs to publish products as SaaS. The stack covers everything from development to infrastructure and allows ISVs to greatly reduce complexity of their SaaS environments.

Verio manages the infrastructure part of the offering – the core of this combined offering – making it both easy and cost-effective for ISVs to scale from a few to hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. Now, ISVs don't need to invest in hardware, bandwidth, hosting facilities or even the management of the servers.

Servoy is a platform to help build and deploy applications much faster than traditional development environments. As a hybrid platform, applications can be deployed both in the new SaaS model, as well as in the classic on premises model from the same code base. Servoy recently introduced real-time load balancing and clustering in its fifth release – Servoy 5.0. This allows ISVs to scale up and down – depending on load – without bringing their application down.
