Golfers Playground announces the FBR Open in Scottsdale will not compete with Super Bowl in 2010

Theo Moody and www.golfersplayground.com announces the FBR Open in Scottsdale will not compete with Super Bowl in 2010

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb 01, 2010 -
Golfers Playground and Theo Moody discovered Scottsdale's prime golf tournament, the FBR Open, will move from its traditional Super Bowl weekend slot in 2010 to late February.
Golfers Playground found that Officials say the temporary change was driven by factors including the new PGA Tour television contract, title sponsor requirements, and network schedules and commitments, including the 2010 Winter Olympics.
The 2010 dates are Feb. 22-28, all of which will be broadcast on the Golf Channel.
Golfers Playground found this quote "From a tournament and fans' perspective, there are many positives about this date change," said Thunderbirds Big Chief Pat McGinley. "We certainly have the possibility of having an even better field than usual because we'll follow the Accenture Match Play Championship. In addition, we will have more daylight to play and less chance of frost. This also means we will have more pro-am spots available to be sold, which adds up to more money for local charities. Not to mention, we'll actually get to watch the Super Bowl that year."

This has been a public service annoucement from Theo Moody and http://www.golfersplayground.com
