Giggles & Coos announces supply drive for the tiniest victims in Haiti

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 1, 2010 - The children of Haiti have become the most vulnerable victims of Haiti’s devastating earthquake. Before the catastrophic events almost half of the population was under 18-years-old. Many now have been left bewildered, bruised and lonely and they need help!

Giggles & Coos, a baby boutique located in DeLand, Florida is collecting items for the children devastated by the Haiti earthquake.  All items collected will be donated to Harvest Time International, based in Sanford, Florida.  

Items currently needed include:
·   Clothing
·   Baby formula
·   Diapers
·   Blankets
·   Cereal
·   Nutritional drinks
·   Pedialyte
·   Powdered milk
·   Soap

“After seeing the devastation in the media, we realized that we could offer a small but helpful hand to the tiniest victims of the earthquake by hosting a supply drive specifically for the children”, said Jeanine Bonk, owner of Giggles & Coos. “So far, we’ve received a tremendous amount of items from the community. We thank everyone so much for their kindness and generosity! The supply drive ends this week so we just want to make sure anyone that hasn’t donated yet has the opportunity! Every little bit goes a long way!”

Giggles & Coos will be collecting items until Friday, February 5, 2010. Items can be dropped off at the boutique located at 102 South Woodland Boulevard in DeLand, Florida. Hours are Monday from 11 am – 4 pm and Tuesday – Friday from 10:00 am – 5:30 pm.
