The new collection of solid oak fireplaces will be launched on the website www.pendragonfireplaces.co.uk, later this week.
Prices will range from around £300+ for quality stained solid wood, not to be confused with inferior products made from wood veneer.
Pendragon also has a range of solid Canadian pine mantels to adorn their cast iron fireplaces and fireplace inserts. These can already be found on the Pendragon fireplace website along with a selected collection of wood burning stoves, which appear to be the way ahead when it comes to burning solid fuels.
However, Pendragon fireplaces believe there is a market for expanding the range of fireplace mantels as many customers tend to use the fire surrounds to decoratively finish off the fireplace opening when fitting a stove, hence giving consumers a greater choice of decor for their room.
