The following is a simply guide of how to start playing Aion. After login the game, you need to select your desired server to play on. On the login interface, you can see how many characters are created already. Each account is allowed to have maximum number of 8 characters. Each server is marked with different colors to indicate the server population status.
Race Select is also a very important step; race setting on Aion is a bit like that of wow. There are two factions. Elyos and Asmodians. Players can read the Aion Lore to know more about the background knowledge.
Select Race
This is actually a very important step and you may wish to read up on Aion Lore before making this decision. Once you choose your race on a particular server, you will only be able to create characters of that race on that server.
Select Class
Warrior: like in majority of MMOs, warriors are set to be skillful for the melee or close combat with their great physical strength and prowess. They are masters of melee combat skills.
Scout: Scout has the most varieties of play style of all classes. They specialized in great agility and speedy attacks.
Mage: like in majority of MMOs, mages specializes in large amounts of damage at long range, however they are very weak at melee combat. aion kinah, it is important for mages to learn how to evade the enemy.
Priest: Priests are healers in the team. They utilize their healing magic and long-range spells to help allies and attack the enemy.
Anyone who was trying to move around EVE, including those using cynos, were affected; effectively making long distance travel a game of roulette, as players were forced to re-log as they ran into the bug. The randomness of the bug clearly made reproducing it, and determining the cause, a bit of a challenge for the QA department, but, eventually, it was announced that a new patch was in testing. Clearly, CCP wanted to take a bit more care with this one (to prevent anything else slipping through the cracks) but, unfortunately, this testing period clashed with a long weekend, which caused no end of complaints on the forums. As for myself, rather than risk losing any ships, I just didn’t log in until the patch went live and sorted it all out.
