Charlotte, NC-If you're between the ages of 5 and 15, you love basketball, want to learn the game or improve your technique, are willing to work hard, and you want to make friends and have fun in the process, Queen City Prep Summer Youth Basketball Camps are for you. Parents, if your child is athletically inclined, or needs help in getting in better physical shape, is bound for high school or college basketball, or simply needs to learn the value of self-discipline, practice, and enhanced self-confidence, then register them today to attend the next Queen City Prep Summer Youth Basketball Camps.
Our basketball camps have a unique focus of teaching basic fundamentals and various drills and techniques. Campers learn basketball handling skills through intensive ball control drills and then build on their superior ball-handling skills by learning quick moves off the dribble. Each camp session will provide a mix of physical activity, practice, instruction, life skills, and fun! There will be indoor and outdoor activities! Also, each camper will be provided with breakfast and lunch daily as well as a camp t-shirt.
The Summer Youth Basketball Camps run from Monday, June 14 through Friday, August 20, 2010 from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday located at the Naomi Drenan Recreation Center, 750 Beal St., Charlotte, NC and the Albemarle Road Recreation Center, 5027 N. Idlewild Rd., Mint Hill, NC 28227. The cost of the 10-week camp is $80 per week per camper. Before and after camp care is available for $40 per week per camper. The camps will feature special celebrity guests who will provide ball handling and dribbling techniques, photos and autographs for all registered campers.
