Boston, MA, DeAngelis Studio - Ozzy Osbourne's book signing became a bit more interesting when DeAngelis Studio Rock School band members, Nick and Wolfgang arrived. The six hour wait in line at Barnes & Noble was well worth it, these two boys are still smiling! A special thanks goes out to Barnes & Noble General Manager, Stephen Turco, who did an awesome job!
The excitement grew as Nick and Wolfgang got closer to a room set aside for Ozzy's book signing, they were about to meet a rock god!
Wolfgang Burger, bass guitarist for the Black Diamonds - age 8 went first.
One of the staff members saw his t-shirt and said, "Black Diamonds Rock!"
Ozzy then said, "Is that the name of your band?"
Wolfgang replied "Yes"
Ozzy "What instrument do you play?"
Wolfgang "The bass"
Ozzy "The bass?!!!"
Then Wolfgang scampered off happily, leaving Ozzy awestruck.
Next came Nick Calnan, drummer for the Black Diamonds - age 12.
Nick "Here is our band t-shirt" as he passed the t-shirt to Ozzy.
Ozzy, taking it happily, "And I will wear it too!"
Ozzy then reached over and pretended to strangle Nick, and the Boston Herald photographer took a bunch of pictures.

The boys are excited and hopeful that maybe someday Ozzy will look them up and believe me, these boys will come and play for him any time any place! They are currently working hard on original songs but plan to include an Ozzy Osbourne favorite in their set list ASAP! In the mean time you can see one of their other "Rock Anthem" clips:
