The SAS 70 Type II certification was developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) to audit and report on the effectiveness of operations and controls of a service provider. Sago Networks, LLC’s Data Center control objectives were closely examined in the areas of organizational structure, administration, physical and environmental controls, and physical and logical security. Sago Networks, LLC invested significant time and resources into the SAS 70 Type II certification process to ensure the security, controls, and processes in its Data Center operations are closely followed and monitored. The audit also enhances Sago Networks, LLC’s ability to support companies facing HIPAA and Sarbanes Oxely requirements when they outsource their data center needs.
