Lonnie the Lamb and his mother live happily in the green field with other sheep. Mother Lamb always sings to little Lonnie whether it’s time for bed or time for lunch. Tragedy strikes one day when the field gate is left open and two hungry foxes sneak in to steal all the lambs. In the pandemonium, Lonnie is trampled to the ground. When he wakes up, he discovers he has lost his beloved mother. It’s up to Lonnie, along with some friends he meets along the way, to go out into the “big world” and search for her.
Lonnie and his new friends working together will surely be able to find Lonnie’s mother and the rest of the flock…but what if his mother doesn’t recognize him when he finds her? What can Lonnie the Lamb do to make her remember?
Through rhyming and the repetition of dialogue, this creative children’s book will teach your little one the importance of helping others.
