When its primary vaccine assembly system experienced sporadic downtime failure in which production ran in bits and pieces and fits and starts, the manufacturer requested assistance from the company that sold and installed the system. A package of spare parts was sent out, but with limited support and communication, frustration was mounting. The manufacturer spoke to A.G. Russell about its concern for getting the competitor’s equipment to run consistently in order to meet production schedules during the national health emergency.
In response, A.G. Russell chartered a plane and sent a team of two men who were able to solve an electrical problem and restore production on the competitor’s high-speed equipment line within just 45 minutes. In addition to getting the equipment up and running… the team remained ‘on-call’ to provide communication and lend support throughout the long Thanksgiving Holiday weekend.
