The United States economy might still be in a world of hurt, but it would seem like things are looking brighter this Friday morning in late January. This news comes as a result of a report stating the Gross Domestic Product was on the rise.
The Dow Jones, stock symbol INDU, rose a total of 70 points this morning. Similar Fortune 500 companies also saw a growth at a rate of 1%.
The world markets are also faring well, from what analysts can gather. The dollar rose strongly against the euro, yen and British pound. Oil prices are on the rise, but the price of gold has been slipping. Overall it seems as though the economy might be pushing back towards a "feel good" era.
The Obama Administration is slated to make an announcement regarding another economic stimulus package to be used in job creation later on in the day. This confirms all doubts that the most recent market growth will not quickly give way to another recession.
