Budding Entrepreneur Launches Eco-Friendly Online Store

Jan. 29, 2010 - PRLog -- A young British entrepreneur based in the Charente has launched LaMaisonNaturelle.com, a website selling affordable organic toiletries, baby supplies and household products.

Heather Dieumegard established LaMaisonNaturelle.com last December with the desire to provide reasonably priced, natural products that are free of hazardous toxins. From plant-based beauty products to organic cloth nappies and baby clothes, the online store stocks thousands of items from specialist brands, many of which have been unavailable in France until now.

“French consumers are becoming more and more aware of the potential dangers of conventional products, but natural alternatives are still difficult to find at reasonable prices,” says Dieumegard. “Most of our items are imported from countries such as the UK, where natural and organic products are already well established, and are therefore innovative and effective, but also affordable.”

The company has placed particular emphasis on the baby and gift markets, with a big selection of organic cotton baby grows, sleep suits and blankets, but the site also offers ecological household cleaning products and organic toiletries for everyday use.

“So far most of the products are proving very popular and our sales are steadily increasing - although some people are still reluctant to use washable nappies!” remarks Dieumegard.

La Maison Naturelle is based in the village of Mérignac, near Jarnac, and all products are available at www.LaMaisonNaturelle.com. Within the Charente, delivery is free for orders above 25 Euros. The company can also be found at various organic markets around the region, and plans are already afoot for a first high street retail store.
