Bay Area Sculptor Jeff Owen was commissioned to create a sculpture for events surrounding Super Bowl XLIV in Miami, FL honoring the Green Bay Packers. The heavy gauge steel sculpture appears as a block of cheese with many holes and a football on top. The letters GB appear on the side, signifying “Green Bay”.
The commission arrived on Friday, and working all day and night, the piece was completed on Sunday evening, ready for shipment.
