Sand Castle Productions has been acquired by Red Dot Media Management

Indianapolis, IN – Sand Castle Productions has been acquired by Red Dot Media Management, an organization created by the owner of the “Word of Words” poetry blog.  Sand Castle which has produced 15 videos for the World of Words by Elias Tobias Channel on You Tube, will become property of Red Dot Media Management.
A recent  video made by Sand Castle Productions, intended as a series of informational “newscasts” called, “Between the Lines,” has not done well with reviews, and Red Dot Media will take over the series with a new concept for the monthly videos.
“They will be shorter, casual, and more informal,” said Michael D. Hall, the real name of poet Elias Tobias and owner of Red Dot Media Management. “We may not even keep the name of the series. We want to do it right.”
Hall said the work completed by Sand Castle Productions served the needs of the growing poetry blog, however it was time that the blog do the videos and other projects in-house.
The World of Words by Elias Tobias celebrates its third year in a new format and a new host this month. On Feb. 12, 2007, Poet Elias Tobias has launched the transformation of his then nine-year-old Web site to a professionally-designed poetry blog .
The revised Web site retains many attributes of the older self-designed Web site, created with a public Internet host, such as a biography, publishing history, other poetry links, new poems, and tips on writing poetry.
The new website is http://eliastobias.net.
“The new Web site, created by WSI, has much more potential to have those coming to the Web site to be active, rather than passive,” Tobias said when the new  format was completed.. “That was one reason I decided to upgrade to a blog-style venue.”
“There is certainly reason to celebrate, however, one should realize not all the opportunities to improve are accomplished,” Tobias said.  “Now that advertising has been included, there are some monetary goals that coincide with the increase in readership, he added. Once at the site, readers need to stick around longer.”
