January 27, 2010, Wixom, Michigan.  Career Agents Network announced that it will provide scholarships to individuals with military experience that are interested in pursuing a recruiting opportunity with the company.  Over the next 34 days and ending on March 1, 2010, Career Agents Network will provide US Military servicemen and women a $10,000 scholarship when they start their own recruiting business as a Career Agent and will be entered for the $20,000 scholarship.

In order to qualify, every veteran who applies to the Career Agents Network program during that period of time will be invited to write a short essay on why they feel compelled to be an entrepreneur.  The company plans to post the essays at www.careeragentsmilitaryscholarships.com, where visitors to the site will be able to read them and vote for who should win the $20,000 scholarship.

In their recruiting careers, Career Agents Network owners Paul Helm and Charlotte Byndas have worked with hundreds of former military personnel. Charlotte Byndas stated that, "there are smart organizations that value those with military backgrounds and benefit from their leadership, integrity and organization skills. We value those characteristics and want to reward them with this scholarship.  We think the entire nation is increasingly aware of the amazing sacrifices military personnel and their families are making. We wanted to do something to give veterans a "kick start" in launching their own business".

Career Agents Network believes former military individuals are frequently perfect for recruiting in high-growth industries like their Career Agents do and that military training teaches them to be disciplined, goal oriented, hard working and most importantly, coachable.

Career Agents Network invites any veteran of the US military to visit their website where they can request information on the Military Scholarship Program which will run through March 1, 2010.  The website is located at www.careeragentsnetwork.com and a link to the information is available on the home page.

The process for being considered for one of the Military Scholarships will be to complete an application process that includes an essay on why they want to be an entrepreneur, reading the Career Agent Business Plan for starting a recruiting business targeting high-growth industries, participate in an interactive web-conference demonstrating research and recruitment software, and then speak with current Career Agents who will be proud to speak with all military applicants and give them the inside scoop on the ins and outs of running a home-based recruiting business.
