Jay Goldberg, author of How to Get, Keep and Be Well Paid in a Job and Jill Desena-Shook, author of Just Tell Me How to Get Hired! are co-hosting a radio show offering job search and on-the-job advice to help people get work and grow in their jobs.

The pilot episode of Job Talk with Jill and Jay on Blog Talk Radio met with great reviews from its listeners. The active listening skills and accountability ladder discussed on the show provided listeners with excellent skills they could use both in their job searches and in their careers.

The topics for the next show, scheduled for 9:00 AM, Sunday, January 31st, will be the benefits of using a recruiter to help you get a job, and how to determine whether a behavior is ethical or unethical, both in the workplace and in life. There will also be two short real life scenarios discussed centered on the prior episodes topics (active listening and the accountability ladder) to serve both as a quick refresher of those topics, and to demonstrate to the listener how not possessing these skills can be a detriment.

Jay Goldberg, MBA, is a former Service Director with Citibank and Program Manager for The Palm Beach County Resource Center, an Economic Development Not for Profit Corporation.
