PRLog (Press Release) -
Jan 27, 2010 -
In May 2008, Joanie San Chirico started professional Fine Art network, using a free blog as a directory to be sort of a "matchmaker"
tool for artists, consultants and resources. As a freelance fine artist herself, she knew of nothing similar which existed on the web. The idea took off and there are now 2000 artists, consultants, galleries, and resources in the group on LinkedIn and on Facebook. When the group outgrew the free blog and because of the need to add services such as opportunities listings, the new site was created. Members include artists, consultants, fabricators and other art professionals. Most of the artist members are experienced in the public, healthcare, hospitality and corporate art sectors. Disciplines include sculpture, glass, textile, paintings and more.
Please visit the site at
http://www.professionalfineartnetwork.com/. Some of the added highlights are teleconferences with consultants, authors and fabricators. In addition, there is a Featured Member of the Month and Opportunities Listings.
If you would like to have your site-specific art related projects and RFQ/RFP’s posted in our Opportunities Listings , please email professional.fine.art.network@
gmail.com . Members will be able to post their own project requirements.
