Jazz and blues legend Jools Holland is returning to The Jam House in Birmingham on Wednesday, March 10, for a spectacular evening of boogie-woogie.
The inimitable pianist will be making his tenth visit to the live music venue in St Paul’s Square accompanied by his 20-strong Rhythm and Blues Orchestra and Birmingham born Soul Star Ruby Turner.
There will also be a guest appearance by 70s/80s rock ‘n’ roller Dave Edmunds whose hits included I Hear You Knocking and Girls Talk.

A founder member of the 1970s chart band Squeeze, Jools formed The Jools Holland Big Band in 1987, which developed into the 20-piece Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
A renowned performer of boogie-woogie, ragtime, jazz, swing and big band rhythm and blues, he has released 26 albums since 1976, as well as seven with Squeeze.
Handsworth’s Ruby Turner’s string of hits include If You’re Ready (Come With Me) and I’d Rather Go Blind. She has also released 17 albums.
