The idea behind the Aquarela 2020 Plan is to increase foreign tourists and the inflows of funds by 304% - the equivalent of US$17.6 billion by 2020 by highlighting 5 key areas: Business/Events, Culture, Eco-Tourism, Sporting Events, and Sun and Beach.
