St. Augustine, Florida – On February 1st, 2010, St. Augustine Pier Park will set loose two athletes from New York to rollerblade across the USA in an attempt to raise funds and awareness for select charities through their project “In Motion For A Million”.

The team hopes that their journey will inspire at least one million people into action. The trek will benefit the Huntington’s Disease Society of America and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event is scheduled for 12:00pm (noon) with the kick off scheduled for 12:30pm on Monday, February 1st, 2010 and will take place at the St. Augustine Pier Park (350 A1A Beach Blvd., St. Augustine, FL 32080). The team will rollerblade across the USA and finish the journey in San Diego, California. Media personnel are invited to rollerblade with the In Motion team for a short distance as the athletes make there way out of the St. Augustine area.
