These drawings are done by first taking an overall picture of the subject to be used as the main view of the drawing followed by numerous detail pictures (with a zoom lens) to show every detail. These details are then carefully conveyed to the drawing. Most originals are 30"x40" in size on letramax 2200 illustration board. Upon completion of the artwork, a digital proof is made and used for running prints on 80lb. Cover paper. Most prints are 11"x17" with a few of the more recent ones being 19"x25" in size.
The prints, even though smaller than the originals, retain all of the detail of the original piece of art.
