Hometown Urgent Care opens Two more, New, Full-Service Urgent Care Facilities

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 26, 2010 - Ohio’s largest and one of nation’s fastest growing Urgent Care companies opened two, full-service facilities, in Ohio, on January 18, 2010, in just one day! One of the facilities is located in Springfield, Ohio and the other facility is located in Lebanon, Ohio. With these two, new locations, Hometown Urgent Care now has 11 facilities. Each facility offers comprehensive, Urgent Care and Occupational Care services.“These are very exciting times for the Urgent Care industry, in general, and for Hometown Urgent Care and WorkCare facilities in particular…” says Manoj Kumar, JD, CPA, Chief Executive Officer of Hometown Urgent Care. Our goal was to open new facilities, as quickly as possible, to take advantage of the rest of busy season. It was by coincidence, that the earliest we could open these new locations in Springfiled and Lebanon, happened to be on January 18th. Instead of delaying the start date, our team decided to open both locations on same day. I am proud of our Project Management, Marketing and Operations teams. They made this happen.”

It is interesting to note, that a couple of months back, in November of 2009, Hometown opened two new facilities in two weeks in Columbus, Ohio.  

Hometown Urgent Care has opened five new facilities in last 12 months. Their sixth new facility is projected to open in February 2010 in Columbus, Ohio. With this location, Hometown will have 12 facilities in Ohio. “We believe that we have a sound business model. This helps us to reach the break-even point quickly and keeps our overall investment for each new center less than $500,000, which includes capital cost. This has helped us to plan aggressive growth in 2010 and beyond.” added Mr. Kumar.
