Niles, Ohio, PennCare, Inc., a leading supplier of high quality rescue products and safe ambulance services is reaching out to inform and remind emergency responders about the “Operation Ranger” Program. Sponsored by the U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company (USSTC), the Operation Ranger donation program was started in 2002 to assist America's emergency first responders. The program invites applications for versatile Polaris Ranger 6x6 utility vehicles to be awarded to emergency response service providers. The applications for 2010 are now being accepted and can be submitted online via the program website at http://www.giftsinkind.org/
To date, 460 rugged, off-road utility vehicles have been awarded across all 50 states through this program. PennCare is doing its part to enhance emergency response capability at the community level by reminding first responders to avail of the opportunities offered via the Operation Ranger program.
For over 20 years, PennCare, Inc. has been dedicated to providing the highest quality rescue vehicles available. Shawn Bryant, President of PennCare, Inc. Niles, Ohio, says, “As leading resellers of Braun and Medix ambulances, we know the high costs of owning and operating emergency response vehicles. Because we deliver products for life-threatening conditions, we want to help ensure that finances don’t come in the way of saving people’s lives. Our effort to reach out and remind people or make them aware of programs like Operation Ranger is another step in this direction.”
Don Bloom, Vice President, PennCare, Inc. talks about their Ambulance Division, “We offer the full range of ambulance and emergency response vehicles -- from Braun, considered the Rolls Royce of ambulances, to Medix specialty vehicles, mobile intensive care units, custom created ambulances and pre-owned / used ambulances. We consider it our privilege to be responsible for delivering goods and services that make the job of life-saving more effective. EMS professionals, first-time responders, ambulance services and disaster response teams count on us to help them treat their patients. As initiatives like Operation Ranger continue, we hope that emergency responders will take full advantage of the program and equip themselves to better fulfill their challenging role.”
