BMAM EXPO ASIA 2010
Feb 2010 – Building Maintenance and Asset Management Expo Asia 2010 (BMAM EXPO ASIA 2010) – The 3rd edition international exhibition and conference on building maintenance and asset management in Asia is officially announced to take place from 15-17 September 2010.

– was held for the second successful year at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Bangkok from 3 to 5 September 2009.
Over 3,580 trade visitors attended the exhibition of which 570 were foreign visitors coming from 19 countries. There were a total of 425 VIP conference delegates comprising top executives and key decision makers whom attended industry conference that ran alongside the exhibition. Accordingly to visitor survey conducted during the event, 65% of total visitors have direct purchasing authority.
Exhibitors were generally very pleased with the outcome of their participation in this year’s event. Mr. Frederic Huet, General Manager of Sodexo remarked “BMAM EXPO ASIA 2009 has been a great success and was a good opportunity for us to introduce our technical facilities management services. The visitors were obviously our right target and we have been able to establish new professional contacts with various fields of businesses such as Commercial Property Management, Shopping Center and Complex, International airport, Public transportation, Food Services factories and Hotel groups as well as independent operators. We will definitely be part of next year BMAM”.
Another exhibitor, Mr. Dan Riordan, the President of PoolRx Asia says “We were successful in our launch of our PoolRx products during the event. We are happy to receive such very positive responses on our range of products”.
Mr. Rungsarn Nuntakawong, the President of Property Management Association of Thailand, one of the supporting organizations of BMAM EXPO ASIA 2009 attributed the high level of interests generated during the event to the quest for knowledge and understanding on effective solutions amidst the variety of operational challenges faced by today’s property/facility owners, managers and building professionals such as shrinking maintenance budget and other resource constraints, coupled by a growing awareness on the importance of improving and maximizing efficiency and value of their building assets.
The 1st ever Thailand’s NPFA Fire Protection Agency 101 Life Safety Certification Course in Bangkok – a joint collaboration between the US based Fire Protection Association and three other Thai trade associations, namely the Thai Building Safety Inspectors and Officers Association (BSA), The Engineering Institute of Thailand (EIT) and the Association of Siamese Architects (ASA) – was also successfully conducted during BMAM EXPO ASIA 2009. The course was attended by over 200 engineering and safety professionals.
The next BMAM EXPO ASIA 2010 will be held from 15 to 17 September 2010. Application for participation is now opened. Most of this year’s key exhibitors have already reconfirmed to participate again for next year. There will also be new exhibitors such as Jones Lang LaSalle who will be using BMAM EXPO ASIA 2010 as one of their key marketing platform to promote their brand and services.
