• 3.5 cubic yards of landfill space,
• 17 thirty-foot pulp trees,
• 7,000 gallons of water,
• 380 gallons of oil,
• 4,100 kilowatt hours of energy, and
• 60 pounds of air pollutants.
By recycling 10,442,940 pounds of paper in 2009, A Shred Ahead saved:
• 18,277 cubic yards of landfill space,
• 88,774 thirty-foot pulp trees,
• 36,554,000 gallons of water,
• 1,984,360 gallons of oil,
• 21,410,200 kilowatt hours of energy, and
• 313,220 pounds of air pollutants.
